The IITM EIACP team successfully conducted one day capacity building workshop today on making eco-friendly Ganesh idols using natural clay at Wakad, Pune. The event saw enthusiastic participation from 20 individuals who learned the traditional art of crafting idols using biodegradable materials. To amplify the impact, each participant committed to training at least 5 more people, thereby spreading awareness and skills for sustainable celebrations. The workshop aimed to discourage the use of Plaster of Paris and promote eco-friendly practices aligned with the objectives of Mission LiFE, encouraging responsible and environmentally conscious lifestyles.
